To Perry Shak, true success is all about paying it forward.
In this high-pressured world in which we live, it is easy to get caught up in the daily grind. For many, success has come to mean something measured only by material possessions.
Perry understands the value of financial success and has built a career as a successful portfolio manager at a major financial institution, but to Perry and his team, true success means helping others as well. Raised by a single mother who struggled financially, he understands how much it means to be supported by community, and Perry is devoted to giving back. Having been the recipient of food baskets, tuition assistance, and social support as a child, he appreciates the impact that an outstretched arm can have in someone’s life. Now, he wants to do the same.

It all comes together with our annual
Gala
In 2018, Redefine Success teamed up with national clothing brand, Judith & Charles, to host a cocktail dinatoire that raised $150,000 for Charlie’s Foundation – an organization that provides aid to underprivileged children in the Dominican Republic. Guest speaker Arlene Dickinson, from the hit television series Dragons’ Den, inspired the crowd as she discussed her impressive career and the importance of giving back.
It was a night to remember and we can’t wait to do it all over again this year in support of another great cause!
